With the T7, moll has created moll electrically height-adjustable desk that combines design and function in a unique way. It stands for minimalist design, clean lines, and well-thought-out ergonomics—a desk that is equally at home in a home office or a modern work environment. With the T8, moll is consistently continuing moll product line. The successor model is based in many respects on the proven concept of the T7, but also incorporates new approaches and improvements.

A key distinguishing feature between the moll and T8 is the surface of the tabletop—more specifically, its material, feel, and care properties.

The T7 uses a classic melamine-coated MDF panel. This surface is robust, easy to clean, and a true design classic. Those who prefer a more elegant look can also opt for the T7 exclusive version with a real wood veneer panel – available in oak or walnut. The surface remains smooth, rather hard to the touch, and deliberately simple.

Sie wirkt besonders matt, ist angenehm warm und samtig in der Haptik – ein echtes Highlight im täglichen Gebrauch. Gleichzeitig ist sie dank Anti-Fingerprint-Eigenschaften deutlich unempfindlicher gegenüber Fingerabdrücken und kleinen Verschmutzungen. Wer möchte, kann auch beim T8 auf die “Exclusive”-Variante zurückgreifen: Diese bietet eine hochwertige Echtholzplatte mit durchgehender Massivholzkante – optisch wie haptisch ein echtes Premiumdetail.

In addition to its redesigned interface, the moll also brings a breath of fresh air to the product line in terms of color design. While the T7 was only available in white as standard—apart from the exclusive real wood version—the T8 offers significantly more design freedom for the first time.

The most striking new feature: the T8 is also available in black—both the base and the tabletop can be selected in elegant black. This option gives the table a modern, architecturally clean look and fits perfectly into minimalist or darkly furnished rooms.

The black frame is also available for the T8 Exclusive version – in combination with real wood veneer, this creates a particularly high-quality contrast between natural materials and clear design language. There have also been some changes to the panel: While the T7 featured classic variants in white, walnut, oak, lilac, and light blue, the T8 focuses on a more modern selection. Lilac and light blue have been omitted, and black has been added as a new accent color – matching the black table configuration. White, walnut, and oak remain available.

These changes enable a whole new form of customization: depending on the version, the T8 can be kept discreet in white or deliberately striking in black—with matching trims in wood or solid colors. This allows the table to be tailored even more precisely to your own living or working environment.

With the T8, moll has placed moll emphasis on integrated power management that is suitable for everyday use.

The power strip is permanently integrated into the table design, but can be configured at the time of purchase: either with 6 classic sockets or in a version with 5 sockets and 2 USB ports. This allows devices such as laptops, monitors, or desk lamps to be connected directly and neatly at the workplace—without any cable clutter.

The magnetic cable channel under the tabletop provides additional organization. It neatly accommodates excess cable length and prevents cables from interfering with the work area or getting tangled when adjusting the height. This is a real plus for comfort and safety, especially with an electrically adjustable table.

One feature that only the T7 offers, however, is the IQ Charger: a wireless charging function that is integrated directly into the tabletop. This allows smartphones to be charged simply by placing them on the table—without any cables or separate chargers. This feature has not been included in the T8.
