1 Melamine resin-coated
Wood-based panel:
moll is made from wood-based panels in accordance with EN 312 and EN 14322 and has been tested accordingly. It complies with formaldehyde class CARB II, which is based on stricter limits than the E1 test method in accordance with EN 120. Based on current knowledge, normal use in accordance with the intended purpose does not pose any health risks or adverse effects.
Our responsibility
At moll , we primarily moll environmentally friendly materials in the production of our products. On the one hand, we want to keep the carbon footprint of our products as small as possible. On the other hand, it is very important to us to use materials that are recyclable and/or can be reused.
2 MDF wood-based panels, lacquered:
The sides are made of MDF wood-based panels with primer foil: The surface has been coated with a UV-curing acrylic lacquer system. This has been water-based and is therefore particularly environmentally friendly.
FSC and PEFC certification
Confirms and certifies the responsible use of wood as a raw material. To ensure the preservation of our forests, we source our wood from a certified supply chain. This guarantees ecologically and socially responsible, sustainable forestry.
3 solid wood panels made of oiled oak or walnut:
Solid wood as a natural raw material from sustainable forestry (FSC certified). Tested according to EN 13353 and EN 13 017-2.
CARB II
moll comply with CARB II, which has stricter limits than E1 E05 according to the current testing method. Based on current knowledge, this poses no health risks when used for its intended purpose.
Blue Angel
The Blue Angel guarantees that products are manufactured with low emissions and meet high standards in terms of environmental, health, and usage properties.
desk surfaces
All decorative surfaces are tested for abrasion resistance, stain resistance, scratch resistance, and impact resistance in accordance with EN 14322. The white color of the table tops prevents glare or reflections when light hits them.
