The GS mark was introduced in Germany in 1977 and is regarded as the leading safety mark in Europe. Among other things, it serves to protect consumers and ensures that consumer products comply with all legal health and safety requirements stipulated by the Product Safety Act. Independent experts test many product features, including ergonomics and the chemical analysis of polymer materials of the tested products.
The law provides for regular testing of certified products. This ensures continuous monitoring of products and production. The GS mark requires very high standards that significantly exceed the basic requirements for CE marking.

The Blue Angel certificate stands for environmentally friendly furniture that is harmless to health. All moll products have been awarded this seal.

The Blue Angel helps you to recognize environmentally friendly and harmless products so that you can base your purchase decision on environmental aspects.
The Blue Angel guarantees that the products and services meet high standards in terms of environmental, health and usage properties. The entire life cycle is considered in the assessment. Criteria are developed for each product group, which products bearing the Blue Angel must fulfill. In order to reflect technical developments, the Federal Environment Agency reviews the criteria every three to four years.
